Obituary of Rose Barbara Chizmadia

Rose Barbara Bogos Chizmadia, age 89, wife of Frank C. Chizmadia of Bridgeport, passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2020. Born in Bridgeport on August 30, 1930, daughter to the late Gabriel and Barbara Gyuresko Bogos, Rose had been a lifelong Bridgeport resident. She had worked for Avco Lycoming Co and J & B Appliance. She loved cooking for her family and friends and enjoyed solving the daily crossword puzzle. She enjoyed travelling around the country with her husband Frank on the Fairfield Elks Lodge trips. Rose had a smile that would light up a room. She was not only a loving wife but more than anything she was a doting mother and grandmother, she will be greatly missed. In addition to Frank, her husband of nearly 60 years, Rose is survived by her sons, Frank G. Chizmadia and his fiancee Lisa Mizzone of Milford, John G. Chizmadia and his significant other Karen Larsen, and her daughter Lisa M. Vincent and her husband Wayne of Milford. She leaves behind her grandchildren, Rachael and Cody; John, Kevin, and David; Victoria, Julianna, and Alexandria as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Margaret Koteas and brothers Gabriel, James, Albert, William and Andrew Bogos.
