Although our time on this Earth with Donna was short, I am thankful for the time that we had together and for the promises that we have in God’s Word, the Bible. In John 11:25 it says, “Jesus said to her, ‘I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die.’”
Thank you John and Rita and everyone who helped make it possible to honor Donna’s life by helping to lay her to rest in her eternal home. As Jesus comforted his disciples before his death on the cross, he said these words to them. They give us a glimpse of what is to come, and they are for all of us as well! In John 14:1-3 Jesus says, “Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. In my Father’s house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.’”
I have hope that I will see my sister again!
