Obituary of Louise A Moritz

Louise Ann Moritz, age 95, passed into Glory in her sleep, 7am. June 11, 2020. She was born on May 30th 1925 as a parade passed by her home in Fairfield to Stephen and Mary Kodba Moritz. Louise was a child of hard working immigrant parents. She finished the 8th grade and went to work in the Factories of Bridgeport during WW ll. She travelled with her sister and lived a short time in Miami, and Los Angeles, where she worked for Nabisco. She spent her entire life giving care to her younger sister, Irene, and her nephew, Alex. She will be remembered for her quick wit and sacrificing care. She will be missed deeply. Survivors include her niece, Pamela Armentano, of Florida; and her nephew, Alex Bakonyi of South Carolina. She is predeceased by her twin brothers, Frank and Stephen Moritz, and her younger sister, Irene Moritz Bakonyi. Services were privately held by Lesko and Polke Funeral Home, 1209 Post Road, in Fairfield Center.
