I am very sorry to hear of your mother's death. I did not know her, but I am writing because the obituary was beautifully written - it told so much about her as a person - and because my mother was from Hungary - grew up near Pecs - and was also forced to leave. They were very strong women, and suffered greatly in having to abandon their homes, but they were able to start a new life here. We were fortunate to have them as our mothers.

Szilveszter and Family...
I would like to extend my sincere condolences in your time of grief. I have many very fond memories of you mother, mother-in-law and grandmother. When I was a younger man in high school and in the years prior to me moving from Connecticut I remember being invited into your home and having a comfortable feeling because, like my own mother, Elizabeth loved to cook and the wonderful and familiar aromas of her cooking filled the entire house. I was always made to feel welcome there and felt at home there for that reason. I will keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers.
