I was so sad to hear about Beth, I had only just recently found her as a member of my family through a friend and Ancestry.
I am grateful for the time we had corresponding with each other about our family.
My sincere condolences to all of the family

I am so sorry to read the sad news. I had been corresponding with Beth via email for some time, helping to research her Craddock ancestors in the Yorkshire Dales. She was so interested in her roots and enthusiastic about all we were discovering. A lovely, kind lady - I’m sorry we were not able to meet. My prayers are with her family in their loss.

Beth was more than just my favorite customer. She was a dear friend whom I will alwys cherish. She always wanted to hear all about what my entire family was up to even though I don't believe she ever met any of them.

I met Beth when working at STS. I had meetings in the office she managed in NJ and we just hit it off from the start. Whenever in the area while travelling I would meet up with her in Summit and when she moved to CT we would have a weekend or two through the year. When on my visits she would always take me to such wonderful places to shop and eat. I can look around my home today and see so many things we bought on our excursions, including an ornament I put on my Christmas tree this year. We both shared a passion for fibre arts so knitting boutiques were always high on the agenda. On one trip I brought my Mum with me and Beth took her out for a day trip. They had such a fabulous time touring some of the stately homes in the Hudson Valley while I was at work. I especially recall our connection over Winnie the Pooh. One of her favoured quotes was; "You're braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think". Each time I think of that quote I think of her. She was all those things; Brave, Strong, and Smart.

We shall miss Beth so much. She was a wonderful mother in law to me and grandmother to our children, Holly, Zach and Elodie. She was our greatest cheerleader and advisor. I hope she is with her much missed husband and family now.

Beth was such a kind and sweet person. We never got to meet but we both worked for STS and had many conversations over the years. She took really good care of our travellers when they went to the New Jersey office. I believe she took them all under her wing. Our deepest condolences to your family on such a beloved Mother and Grandmother. May your memories of her bring you comfort during this difficult time. God bless.

My mom loved hummingbirds - we spoke endlessly about when and how many we saw at our respective CT homes, when to put out our feeders, when to replenish their food, when to put the feeders away for the season. It was an ongoing conversation that I will miss, though I have a feeling I will be seeing extra hummingbirds next spring, as her magical spirit will no doubt deliver them to us.

Beth was the heart and passion of the Southbury community! She was such a good friend to my husband Rich in his final days, which I will always remember and appreciate. May she rest in peace while her family and friends celebrate her amazing life.

I haven't seen Beth in over 30 years but in the last couple of years we had some nice exchanges via email. I grew up with her kids in Summit, and always enjoyed her encouraging words that I will never forget as a young man. I loved her very much and wish nothing but the best for her family. --Mark Corradetti

Living in Chatham will never be the same. We still look for Beth and Lissie in the window just to say hello. Having Beth as a friend and "extra" mother is what we needed at the perfect time in our lives. We love Beth and your entire family. Beth led by example and all we had to do was participate and it was always fun.
