Obituary of Doris Us

Doris Booth Us, age 83, of Easton, beloved wife of the late August "Gus” Us, passed away on Friday, January 8, 2021.
Born on July 5, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Elsie Aveyard Booth. Predeceased by her sisters Irene Booth Killian & Eunice Booth Domschine. Doris had been an Easton Town resident for over 40 years. She received her MS degree from the University of Connecticut and was an educator for the Amity School system for over 30 years, where she was loved by her many students. Over the years, Doris enjoyed books, art, antiquing, gardening, her pets, dog-breeding, being outdoors, camping, traveling, skiing, music, entertaining and occasional trips to casino. Doris’s greatest pleasure was spending time with family & friends.
Doris will be remembered by her many many beloved nieces and nephews within the Üs’s, Domschine’s, Tucker’s, Killian’s & extended-family.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at 10:30 am in Lawncroft Cemetery, Fairfield. There will be no prior calling hours.
