Obituary of Walter G Lindner

Walter G. Lindner, age 92, of Fairfield, beloved husband of the late Helen Kraker Lindner, entered into eternal life on Sunday, February 26, 2017. Born in Queens, NY, Walter proudly served his country in the United States Navy during World War II. He had worked as an industrial traffic manager at Polymer Industries and retired after 38 years. A devout Catholic, Walter was a parishioner at St. Emery's Church and volunteered as an usher and ran the church's Bingo. Walter volunteered his free time all his life, including, the Holy Name Society, Operation Hope, local food banks, and St. Vincent's DePaul in Derby. Walter's memory will lovingly be remembered by his children, John Lindner, and his wife, Patty, of Woodstock, CT, James Lindner, and his wife, Julie Ann, of Spotsylvania, VA, and Catherine Lamson, and her husband, George, of Fairfield; and five grandchildren, Colleen Crable, and her husband, Austin, Marissa Lindner, Byran Lindner, Steven Lindner, and Christopher Lamson, and his wife, Milagros. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at 10:00 AM DIRECTLY at St. Emery's Church, 838 King's Highway East, Fairfield, CT 06825. Burial will follow with full Military Honors at Lawncroft Cemetery, Fairfield.
