Obituary of Linda A. Cherrett

Linda Ann Cherrett, of Fairfield, born December 19, 1961, passed away peacefully at the age of 55 on August 26, 2017 after fighting a long battle of ovarian cancer. Linda fought every step of the way with a smile on her face. She leaves behind her mother, Joanne Cherrett, of Fairfield; her sister, Camii Chappa and brother-in-law, Bill; along with her beloved nieces and nephews, Kady, Maria, Billy, and Giovanni, all of Trumbull. Linda's kind spirit and giving nature will never be forgotten. The family would like to thank Dr. Neal Fischbach, Tara Franco, and the staff at the Smilo Caner Center, the nurses and doctors at Bridgeport Hospital Oncology Floor, Lord Chamberlain nursing staff and Vitas Hospice. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Smilow Cancer Center at Yale New Haven Hospital, 35 Park St, New Haven, CT 06510. Funeral services will be held privately.
