Mary Helen Donovan, age 73, of Fairfield, formerly of Weston, entered into eternal life on September 5, 2017. Born in Bremerton, WA, Mary was the daughter of the late Jerome and Charlotte Lovekin Donovan. Mary was an avid photographer and took great pleasure in traveling with her mother and family. A beloved daughter, sister, and devoted aunt, Mary's memory will be embraced by her family whom she loved dearly, including her three brothers, Larry Donovan, of Denver, CO, Jerome "Jerry" Donovan, and his wife, Sharon, of Clive, IA, and Arthur Donovan, and his wife, Caroline, of Port Washington, NY; her sister, Charlotte Donovan O'Shea, of Greenwich; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mary was predeceased by a brother-in-law, William Joseph O'Shea; and a sister-in-law, Martha Dohme Donovan. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, September 14, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 545 Stratfield Road, Fairfield, CT 06825. Interment will follow at St. Lawrence Cemetery, West Haven. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mary's memory to St. Joseph's Institute for the Deaf, 1314 Strassner Drive, Brentwood, MO 63144.
