Marilyn Ann Kelley Favereau, age 78, of Bridgeport, beloved wife of the late Donald Favereau, Sr., entered into eternal life on Monday, September 25, 2017. Born in Worcester, MA, Marilyn was one of 19 children to the late Charles and Grace Bergstrom Kelley. She was the runner up for Ms. Campbell Soup in 1943 and worked at the New Colony Diners in Bridgeport and Monroe. Marilyn was an avid Bingo player and also enjoyed trivia, cards, and shopping. The matriarch of the family, Marilyn's memory will be lovingly remembered by her five children, Laura Favereau, of Ansonia, Deborah Staicu-Carter, and her husband, Ron, of Huntersville, NC, Lisa Kavouras, and her husband, Peter, of Wolcott, Michael Favereau, of Bridgeport, and Donald Favereau, of Bridgeport; eight grandchildren, Cathy, Jennifer, David, Denise, Kayla, Brittney, Niko, and Dylan; eight great-grandchildren; five brothers, Frank, Walter, Peter, Larry, and Billy Kelley; five sisters, Peggy Tarnoczy, Betty Kelley, Rosemary Redfield, Maryann Collins, and Barbara Kelley-Balazsi; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Marilyn was predeceased by her siblings Warren, Paul, Charles, Donald, and Grace. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, September 28, 2017 from 5-8 p.m. in the Lesko & Polke Funeral Home, 1209 Post Road, in Fairfield Center. A prayer service will take place at 7:30 p.m. All other services will be held privately.
