Obituary of Louise Frissora

Please share a memory of Louise to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Louise George Frissora, beloved wife of 46 years to Ralph Frissora, died October 18, 2017, in St. Voncent's Hospital surrounded by her loving family, after a valiant battle on many fronts. Louise was the daughter of the former Rose Haddad and John George. She was an Antiochian Eastern Orthodox Christian, an American of Syrian Descent. Louise was a member of St. Nicholas Antiochian Orthodox Church, a member of its Ladies Auxiliary, and a former member of the Women's Council of Eastern Orthodox Christian Churches of Greater Bridgeport. She loved working behind the scenes at St. Nicholas Church, especially baking for special events. Her pride was in hand-cutting dough and she was so particular that each piece looked as if it was formed by a precision machine. Her working history started out in retail and she moved on to become one of the first people involved in the Avco Lycoming's newly formed computer department. Louise then moved on to working in the food and grocery business for many years leading to her reputation as an excellent cook. She enjoyed both cooking and baking for her family. On any given day, you could go shopping in her freezers and kitchen. She was always prepared to make a feast and her pizza was yummo. She was a fun and fabulous person and a fierce protector of all those she loved. Louise leaves behind her two most precious gifts, her daughter Tracy and her son Scott and their spouses Nick Kolarich and Julie Frissora, her grandchildren, who were the loves of her life, Kylie and Maksim Kolarich, and Piper, Paige, and Lulu Frissora; and two special canine family members, Toby Frissora and Malibu Kolarich. She also leaves her sister and shopping partner, Eva Tomlinson, and her brother, Albert George and his wife Marsha, her many wonderful and loving nieces and nephews and their children. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at 10 AM St. Nicolas Antiochian Orthodox Church 5458 Park Avenue Bridgeport, CT 06604. Her burial will follow at Lawncroft Cemetery, Fairfield. Friends may greet the family at the church on Saturday from 9 AM until the time of the service.
