Obituary of Susan Elizabeth Duh

Susan Elizabeth Duh, age 55, of Lehigh Acres, FL,  entered into eternal rest on November 1, 2017. Sue was born and raised in Bridgeport and graduated from Central High School in 1979. She held many jobs in CT, but her favorite by far was her position of Sales Business Analyst with Gartner in Ft. Myers, FL. Sue loved family and enjoyed the many family vacations at Weirs Beach in New Hampshire. Sue took great pleasure in baking, not so much for herself, but to share with everyone. She loved life and everything it had to offer, including traveling, tending to her garden, fishing, and going on ghost hunts. A devout Catholic, she was a faithful member of Holy Cross Church where she joined the choir, and was President of Our Lady’s Guild. She also loved her Florida parish, St. Raphael, where she volunteered her time. Her favorite saint was St. Therese and prayed to her daily. Sue was a wonderful daughter, sister, and friend, but her niece and nephews were her joy. Her memory will be lovingly remembered by her beloved mother, Ann Rednak Duh, of Bridgeport; her sister, Ann Marie Bernstein, and her husband, Paul, and their son, Matthew, of Seymour; her two brothers, Joseph Duh, and his wife, Maria Hernandez Duh, of Bridgeport and Robert Duh, and wife, Jennifer Cote Duh, and their children, John and Sarah, of Seymour; and her life partner, Raymond Guest, of Lehigh Acres, FL. her dog Bella and her many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her father, Joseph S. Duh. Calling hours will be held on Friday, November 10, 2017 from 4-8 PM in the Lesko & Polke Funeral Home, 1209 Post Road, in Fairfield Center. Funeral services will take place on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at 9:30 AM in the funeral home and 10:30 AM at Holy Cross Church, 750 Tahmore Drive, Fairfield. Her interment will follow in Mountain Grove of Easton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Susan's name to St Jude Children's Hospital or charity of your choice.
