Obituary of June Pare
June Paquette Pare', age 90 of the Black Rock section of Bridgeport, wife of the late Joseph Pare', passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 12, 2017. Born and raised in Rutland, Vermont, June had been a Bridgeport resident for most of her life. She had worked for Dressler Industries for many years until her retirement. Mrs. Pare' was a past President of the Westshore and McKeen Seniors groups. June enjoyed bingo and most of all loved the times that she spent playing cards with her grandchildren. A loving mother and grandmother will be greatly missed. Survivors include her sons, Daniel Zemper of Bridgeport and Gary Pare' of Stratford, daughters Kim Bonauito of Fairfield and Bonnie Pare Hammack of Florida, nine grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her granddaughters Kaylee and Jill, a brother Chaplain Paquette and sisters Mickey Romano and Yvonne Paquette. Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 4-7 pm in the Lesko & Polke Funeral Home, 1209 Post Rd., Fairfield Center with a prayer service at 6:30 pm. Graveside funeral services will be held on Friday at 9 am in St. Thomas Cemetery, Fairfield.
