John Gulash, 56, died February 21st 2018 at The Pines Nursing Home in Rutland Vermont. John, bravely fought Parkinson’s disease for over 20 years.

John holds many notable achievements; a few would include graduation from Sacred Heart University and completing a Law Degree from Vermont School of Law. John loved music, He was a profound Elvis fan from a very young age, and he deeply enjoyed singing choir on Sunday’s at his church. He had a love for American history, and studied it for many years, in particular the Civil War. John Was an enthusiastic Mets fan, and he never let a loss get him down. John also shared a love for football. John battled Parkinson’s for most of his life, He published several articles on his struggles with the disease, although it was always hard, John was very optimistic. John’s sister, Mary Hoffee and brother-in law Joseph Hoffee of Brookline MA, Niece Anna Hoffee of Salt Lake City Utah, Nephew Max Hoffee of San Diego California, his Aunt Ann Chatlos, of Fairfield, CT and several dear friends and cousins with all miss him sincerely.

A Memorial Service will be held at the United Methodist Church of Rutland, 60 Strong’s Avenue, Rutland, VT 05701, On April 15th at 9:30 AM.

In John’s memory Donations can be made to the Loretto Home 59 Meadow Street, Rutland Vermont 05701.
