Paul Gabor, age 81, beloved husband of Joan Sult Gabor, of Shelton, passed away on March 4, 2018 in Saint Vincent's Medical Center.

Born in Poland, he was the son of the late Alexander and Stephanie Peroh Gabor. Paul emigrated to the United States in 1948, lived in Bridgeport until moving to Shelton in 1964. He proudly served in the United States Army from 1958 to 1964. In the late 1960's, Paul became a founding partner for Versatile Mold & Design, and later, for Valley Metal & Plastics.
Paul was active in public service for many years. He was a past member of the Shelton Public Town Committee, Shelton Charter Revision Committee, and Shelton Parks and Recreation Committee, where he was a vice chairman. He was also involved in coaching Shelton Little League, Pony League, Colt League, American Legion Baseball, and Shelton Flag Football. An outdoors man, he enjoyed golf, hunting, fishing, and spending quality time with his family and friends.
