Karen Turoczi Hylinski, age 61, devoted wife of the Robert A. Hylinski, of the Black Rock section of Bridgeport, passed away peacefully on March 16, 2018.

A lifelong Bridgeport resident, Karen was the daughter of of the late Peter and Anne Rosko Turoczi. Karen was a retired healthcare supervisor at the Ella Grasso Regional Center for the State of Connecticut and had been a longtime member of the S.S. Norden Club Ladies Auxiliary. Truly possessing a big heart, Karen loved being with people and especially like to assist those in need. Karen donated her body for Lupus research to the Anatomical Gifts Registry of Maryland. She believed this would advance the treatment for those who are also afflicted.  Karen was selfless to the end.

In addition to her beloved husband Rob, Karen's memory will be embraced by her niece, Annie Turoczi and her grandniece, Isabella Lynn Turoczi, both of Bridgeport;  Her sister, Patricia Baker and her husband Robert, of New Castle, NH. She is also survived by members of Rob's family and many dear friends. In addition to her parents, Karen was predeceased by her two brothers, Peter Paul and Alan Turoczi.

Her Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, May 12th at 11 AM in Saint Ann Church 481 Brewster Street, Bridgeport, with a reception to immediately follow.
