Gerald and I had so much fun together. We went for walks at the beach, planted flowers in his yard, and went for ice cream every Tuesday. He enjoyed going to the senior center weekly for Bingo, dancing and movies. He enjoyed when I visited with my three granddaughters. He loved his cat dearly. He told me he thought his wife's spirit was in his cat, that's why she watched him all the time.

My heart goes out to your family. I am so sorry that you are going through this difficult time. Psalms 46:1 says, God is our refuge and strength, a help that is readily found in times of distress. And remember that God hates it when one of His children dies (Matthew 18:14, 1 Corinthians 15:26). So He makes Himself available in order to comfort us. In fact, 2 Corinthians 1:3, 4 refers to Him as the "God of all comfort". Pray to Him for strength to get through this most difficult time. Weep to Him when the words just won't come out. He will really help you (Isaiah 41:10) because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). And please, call upon His name found at Psalm 83:18. www.JW.org
