Josephine Staltaro, age 84, devoted wife of Pasquale "Pat" Staltaro, of Fairfield, passed away peacefully on February 25, 2021 while surrounded by her loving family.
In addition to her beloved husband, Pat, Jo leaves behind a beautiful family to include her son, Frank Staltaro, his wife, Jeannine, and their two children Janae and AJ; her daughters, Anne Marie Conway, and her husband, Tim, and their children, Ryan and Emily Jo, and Kathy Roman, her husband, Eddie, and their children, Luke and Lance. She also leaves behind several close/dear nieces and nephews who meant a lot to her.
Jo was predeceased by her parents, Emanuel and Jenny Miceli; her loving sister, Carmela Tamburello; and brother, Nick Miceli.
A longtime resident of Fairfield, Jo and Pat enjoyed visiting their home in Pompano Beach, in Florida. The most important aspect of Jo's life was her dedication to her husband, children, and grandchildren. Her family was the most important part of her life. She was an example of a truly selfless individual. In return, her family loved and admired Jo. She was very much loved by all who knew her.
The Staltaro family is truly grateful for her caregivers, Aida Robles, Cynthia Evans, Sophia Palmer, Lavern Ellis, Sheryl Johnson and Yvrose, who showed compassion and dedication during Jo's time of need, as well as the entire Constellation Hospice team, especially her nurse Lisa McDougall and caregiver Gert.
Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 2nd, at 11 a.m. in Saint Anthony Church, 149 South Pine Creek Road, Fairfield. Her entombment in Oak Lawn Cemetery's Mausoleum will be private.
