Barbara Miro, age 85, devoted wife of the late Joseph Miro, formerly of Fairfield, passed away peacefully in her Trumbull home on March 26, 2021. Born in Norwalk on October 1, 1935 to Morris and Fannie Lindwall, Barbara was one of 9 children, all of whom predeceased her.

She will be lovingly remembered by her family including her children, Joseph C Miro, Barbara E Miro , Mary L Klein (Roy); her cherished grandchildren, Joseph Miro, Julianna Miro, Christopher Klein, Joseph Klein (Jessica), Kaitlyn Klein, Sara Klein; her great grandchildren, Brendan Klein and Harrison Klein (everyone lives in CT except Christopher who lives in South Carolina).

Alongside her husband Joe, they ran Miro Farms for over 50 years. In that time, they served numerous customers, many of whom would become longtime friends. She was a dedicated parishioner and Eucharistic Minister at Holy Family Church before moving to Monroe 12 years ago. She enjoyed gardening, jigsaw puzzles and listening to country music. She was all about family and lived for her 6 grandchildren and felt especially blessed with two great grandsons who were the light of her life.

Friends are invited to join her family for a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday at 1 PM in Holy Family Church, Fairfield. Her interment will follow in Lawncroft Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the Miro family requests donations in her memory to St Jude Children's Research Hospital or Swim Across the Sound. For travel directions, or to sign her guest register, please visit www.LeskoPolkeFuneralHome.com
