Peter Atkins, age 68, of Weston, beloved husband of the late Patricia Revey-Atkins, entered into eternal life on July 19, 2018. Son of the late Norman and Charlotte Daniel Atkins, Peter was born in Kingsport, TN and grew up in Westport, CT. Peter was a 1968 graduate of Staples High School and continued his education at Middlebury College and obtained advanced degrees from Rutgers University and New York University. A lifetime avid skier, Peter was happiest on the slopes of Vermont or sailing his Hobie Cat on Long Island Sound. He took great pleasure in spending time in his vegetable garden and was an active member in his church. Prior to his retirement, Peter was self-employed with his late wife, Tricia, in the financial consultant business. His memory will be lovingly remembered by his daughter, Kristeva Revey-Atkins, of Louisville, KY; and his sister, Ann Atkins Webber, and her husband, David, of Fripp Island, SC. In addition to his wife and parents, Peter was predeceased by a sister, Claire Atkins. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, September 16, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. at The Unitarian Church in Westport, 10 Lyons Plains Road, Westport, CT 06880.
