Obituary of David C Reynolds

David C. Reynolds, age 80, of Fairfield, passed away on Saturday, April 24, 2021.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY son of the late Arthur and Jean Donlon Reynolds, David had been a Fairfield Town resident for many years. Mr. Reynolds was a graduate of Boston College, " Class of 1963 " where he played Varsity Basketball.

He went on to begin his career on Wall St. and later owned Ye Olde Bridge Grill of Westport. Mr. Reynolds was a devout Catholic at St. Thomas Aquinas Church and was very active in the Knights of Columbus. He was an avid golfer, played basketball and enjoyed spending time with his family.

David is survived by his sister Mary Anne Reynolds, sisters in law Beverly Reynolds and Gloria Reynolds, nieces, Meg Spescha and her husband Caspar, Catherine Scholl and her husband Eric, Susan Reynolds, Kristen Sasso and her husband Brian, Meghan Komaromi and her husband Brian, Katie Sepelak and her husband Philip, Elizabeth Mohr, Teresa Carley, Jennifer Bowden and Gloriann Hermann and a nephew Charles Reynolds, he leaves many great nieces and great nephews, especially Matt, Alexandra, Jack, Charlie and Tommy who were always there to help their Uncle Dave. He was predeceased by his brothers Arthur, Frank, Robert and Paul Reynolds.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11 am directly at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 1719 Post Rd., Fairfield with burial to follow in St. Thomas Cemetery, Fairfield. There will be no prior calling hours.
