Obituary of Susan Joan Pastor

Susan Joan Pastor, age 64 of Fairfield, passed away on Wednesday, November 3, 2021.

Susan was born in Bridgeport, daughter of Joan Goerig Pastor and the late Louis Pastor and had been a Fairfield Town resident for most of her life. She was an accomplished biology technician, then an educator in the Weston Public School system until her retirement.

Susan loved her dogs and feeding wild birds in her backyard, playing the piano, gardening, walks on the beach, quilting and cross stitching. She was passionate about helping children, her students and her family.  She also loved dressing up to go out with her family and friends.

She is survived by her mother Joan Pastor, brothers L. Stephen Pastor and his wife Yvonne of Yardley, PA and Martin Pastor and his wife Beth of Hanover, NH, an uncle Richard Pastor, nephews Philip Pastor and his wife, Emily, and Michael Pastor, her niece Meredith Pastor, a special cousin Beth Colette as well as cousins Warren Luedecker, Karen Pawlowski, and Elizabeth Luedecker. 

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, November 12 at 11 am directly at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 834 Brookside Dr., Fairfield, with burial to follow in Oak Lawn Cemetery, Fairfield.
