Gary was a family man and enjoyed cross-country road trip summer vacations, playing golf and having his children and grandchildren visit and stay at the family home. He made many friends and was always welcoming new ones.

In addition to Barbara, his loving wife of over 46 years, survivors include his sons, Steven Edward Voss and his wife Cathleen of Carver, MA and Michael Allen Voss and his wife Allison of Shelton, CT and a daughter Lisa Voss Spaulding and her husband Jeffrey of Dillon, CO.
