Obituary of Judith Ann McCone

Judith McCone, age 83, passed away at her home on December 19, 2021. Born in Bridgeport on June 7, 1938, daughter of the late William and Ann Toth McCone, Judy was a lifelong resident of Bridgeport. She graduated from Bassick High School "Class of 1956". Judy's favorite pastime was walking along St. Mary's By The Sea and when walking became difficult, sitting in her car reading, watching passers by, and enjoying the water views. Survivors include her sister, Joan Carol Broadhurst, of Old Saybrook , CT; nephew, David Sikorski, and his wife, Kathleen; and grandnieces, Hannah and Riley Sikorski, all of Wayne, N.J. She is also survived by cousins, William and wife, Dorothy, of Monroe, CT, Richard Ross, and wife, Carolyn, of Stratford CT, Gregory McCone, and wife, Abby, Thomas McCone, and Jacqueline Doan, and husband, Al, all of Dallas, TX. Also, her dear friends, Rosalie and Robert Rutkauskas, of Fairfield CT. Judy loved her family and always kept up with what was going on in their lives. The family will greet friends on Thursday, December 23rd 11:00 a.m. at St. Ann's Church 481 Brewster St. in the Black Rock section of Bridgeport, a Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12 Noon and burial will immediately follow at Lawncroft Cemetery, 1740 Black Rock Turnpike, Fairfield, CT. Donations in Judith's name may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
