Obituary of Margaret Blagriff
Margaret Francis Blagriff, passed away peacefully at Cambridge Health and Rehabilitation in Fairfield on February 20, 2022.
Born March 19th, 1930 in Bridgeport, she moved to Fairfield in 1948 with her husband, Edward Blagriff. There they built a home and raised a son, Edward James Blagriff, and their grandchildren Edward & Bridget. Margaret, known to all as Nan, was an incredibly patient and loving person. She enjoyed taking bus trips with family, going to Captain’s Cove in the summer, and especially her trips to the casino.
She will be sorely missed by all who loved her. Predeceased by her husband and son, she leaves behind grandson Edward Blagriff & his wife Jennifer (McKnight) of New Hampshire, granddaughter Bridget and husband Ted Free of Vermont, and her great grandchildren, Edward, Kaelyn, Caroline, Robert, and Garrett. She also leaves sister Catherine Novey of Devon, CT, brother Richard Daley of Catskill, NY and many nieces & nephews.
