MaryJane (Reed) Scianna, age 79, of Shelton, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, April 14, 2022 in her home with her loving family by her side. Born in Bridgeport on October 24, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Harold and MaryJane Reed.

MaryJane, lovingly known as "Gram", was the most cherished, loving and compassionate woman, who was loved by all. She was a master of shopping. She was known to buy one of every color "just in case".

Survivors include her beloved children, John J. Scianna Jr., Denise M. Scianna, and husband, Arthur DeFrancisco, Corri L. Scianna, and husband, Mark Mader; her loving eight grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; her brother, Harold Reed, and wife, Delia; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 3 sisters, Norma Domeracki, Eileen Garofano, and Gloria DelFranco.

The family wants to give a special thank you to her care giver Natasha Williams who treated her as her own.

MaryJane's funeral services will be held on Friday, April 22, 2022 at 12:00 Noon in the Lesko & Polke Funeral Home, 1209 Post Road, in Fairfield Center. Interment will follow at Mountain Grove of Easton Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Friday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the time of her service.
