Obituary of Dorothy B. Cennamo
Dorothy Knapp Cennamo, age 88, devoted wife of the late Ralph A. Cennamo, of Bridgeport, passed away on October 7, 2018.
She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters Dorothy Cennamo, of Orange, Joanne Mauro and her husband Alfonse, of Bridgeport, Patricia Otero and her husband Pablo, of Huntington; her cherished grandchildren, Brian Mauro and his wife Lisa, Michelle Pereira, Kristin Mauro, Justin Wallis; her beloved great grandchildren, Daniella Batista, Brian and Mia Mauro; her brother in law, Albert Cennamo, of Bridgeport; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband Ralph, Dorothy was predeceased by her parents, Michael and Anna Tomish Knapp, and her siblings, Bernice Knapp, Evelyn Lombardo, and Richard Knapp.
Dorothy truly loved her family and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, all of whom she was so proud of. Her memory will be embraced by all whom she touched in life.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 4-8 PM in the Lesko & Polke Funeral Home 1209 Post Road, in Fairfield Center. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 11 AM directly in St. Andrew Church, Bridgeport, with interment to follow in Lawncroft Cemetery, Fairfield.
