Obituary of Betty Smith

Betty Smith, age 90, of Fairfield, Connecticut, wife of the late Harold Smith, passed away peacefully on December 14th, 2021 in Palm Coast, Florida. Born in Milford, she resided in Fairfield where she and her husband raised their family. A telephone operator, she worked for many years at Jelliff Corp. and Chapin and Bangs until her retirement. In her later years she spent time doing crafts, sewing, gardening and helping raise her granddaughter and great grandson. She is survived by her beloved sons, Robert, and his Wife, Joanne, of Palm Coast, Florida and Lawrence, of Stratford; Granddaughter, Holly; and Great Grand Children, Geo and Arabella. In addition to her husband Harold, Betty was predeceased by her son, Edward James (Jim). A private service will be held with the family. Interment will be at St Michael's Cemetery, Stratford.
