I am sadden to hear of the passing of Barbara. I felt privilege that she was part of my team as a tax professional at the H&R Block office at Brookside in Bridgeport during the time that I was an office manager there. We were like family in the office and we all loved and respected Barbara very much. Barbara's vast knowledge of the Tax Code and her professionalism made her the go-to person in the office when her peers were face with a challenging or complicated tax issue. When she worked there she had many dedicated and loyal clients that not only went to her year-after-year because of her expertise in taxes but because of her genuine desire to do all she can to help her clients in current tax situations but in future planning as well. She treated them like family and many became her personal friends. To her daughter Karen and Family: Just remember even though she is physically gone she will never leave you for as long as you keep her spirit and memory alive in your hearts and mind. I was saddened to read that Barbara had passed away. My family became friends through H&R Block. I remember her and her family as an important part of my family. Susanne was flower girl in my wedding and I was a Confirmation sponsor for Karen. Barbara and I used to speak every few months until I moved to North Carolina. As I told Susanne, She was always a thought in my mind and held a place in my heart. Love and condolences to all her family members from the Baker and Simon families.
