Obituary of Maria Oslai

Maria Korosi Miko Oslai, age 78 of Bridgeport, passed away on Thursday, April 7, 2022.

Born in Hungary, Maria came to the United States many years ago. She had worked as a hairstylist in Bridgeport for many years until her retirement. Maria was a faithful member of the United Church of Christ of Bridgeport and belonged the Black Rock Seniors group. She was an accomplished knitter and enjoyed cooking her Hungarian specialties. 

Maria is survived by her son, Zoltan Dudas, of Hungary; and many friends. She was predeceased by her husbands, Joseph Miko and Louis Oslai; and her daughter, Agnes Yakur.

A committal service will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. in the Read Memorial Chapel of Mountain Grove Cemetery in Bridgeport. There will be no prior calling hours.
