Obituary of Leanne Mary Faris

Leanne Mary Faris, age 50, devoted wife of Robert Faris and loving mother to Camryn and Ryan Faris, of Fairfield, passed away on May 25, 2022.

In addition to her beloved husband and children, Leanne's memory will be cherished by her parents, Danny Whiteside and Charlotte Stanzione Whiteside; Rob's parents, Robert and Donna Faris; two uncles, Timothy Stanzione and his wife Lisa, Ralph Stanzione and his wife Dianna; her brother inlaw, Christopher Faris and his wife Melissa, and sister in law, Kimberly Lewandowski and her husband Todd; one niece and three nephews; as well as extended members of the Faris family, and many dear friends.

Leanne grew up in Bristol, Rhode Island, and was a graduate of Rhode Island College. She moved to Connecticut, and was employed as a social worker for the State of Connecticut before becoming a paraprofessional for the Fairfield Board of Education. She embraced a true passion for working with children and helping those in need. 

Leanne deeply loved her family, and cherished the time she spent with Rob, Camryn and Ryan. Participating in her children's school activities, watching their sporting events, trips with them back to the beautiful beaches of Rhode Island, vacations on Block Island, and get together's with her family and friends were all special memories for Leanne. Her radiant smile and kindness to others will be endeared by all who came to know her.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday (June 2nd) from 3 to 7 PM in the Lesko & Polke Funeral Home 1209 Post Road, in Fairfield Center. All other services will be private.
