Dear Mary, Mary Ellen and I have you and your family and friends in our thoughts and prayers and wish to send our deepest condolences to you over Marty's passing. His long career, and your enormous sacrifices, especially when he was called out to after hours duty so often, was the type of extreme dedication that made our department so great and Marty and you so special. It was indeed an honor for Mary Ellen and I to have been able to serve alongside such an outstanding trooper. May he enjoy an everlasting retirement in the house of the Lord. Rest in peace Marty.

Dear Mary and family. My sincere condolences to you all. Marty was one of the best Sgts I ever worked for. I have many great memories of the many cases we worked on in the Major Crime Squad.
