Obituary of Eileen A. Carter
Eileen A. Carter age 84 of the Black Rock section of Bridgeport, passed away peacefully at home on September 17, 2022. Born in Bronx NY on January 2, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Margaret Quinn.
In addition to her parents, Eileen was predeceased by her husband, Richard J. Carter and brother Charlie Quinn. She will be lovingly remembered by her companion of 30 years, Joel "papa" Melitz; her children, Steve Carter, Michael R Carter and wife Marlene Bazo Carter, Kathy Carter Barreiro and husband Ramon; her six cherished grandchildren, Ross and Bianca Barreiro, Sydney and Maddie Carter, Jack and Quinn Carter; one great grandchild, Jayden Barreiro; as well as her two sisters Rosemary Frank and (Mike) and Margie Guiry and (Bob).
Friends are invited to join her family for a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday at 11 AM in Saint Ann Church 481 Brewster Street, Bridgeport, with interment to follow in Mountain Grove Cemetery.
