To Dot's Children and Grandchildren.
Our memories of this remarkable woman go back many years, and it began with a message in a bottle. As part of our then nine year old son's cub scout communications project, a note in a bottle which was first placed in the water at Seaside Park found its way to St. Mary's by the Sea where Dot and her wonderful husband Frank discovered the bottle floating in the water by the shore. They picked it up, read the note, contacted our son, and as a result a thirty-three year old friendship ensued. We cherish the visits and conversations we've had over the years, even with our move to Virginia thirty-two years ago. We will miss our dear friend. God bless you, Dot.
