When we moved into the neighborhood, Ron made us feel so welcome. He had a smile like a sunrise, and was easily the most personable man we ever met. We liked him immediately. He was friendly, funny, and shrewd. Deeply practical. Knowledgable. He loved decorating for Christmas, and he once told us he wanted to buy the town lot on the corner just so he could decorate it. “Lorraine would never go for it,” he said, “and making her happy is my life’s work. And anyway,” he continued, “she pretends she doesn’t know about all the decorations I’m hiding in the shed.” His eyes always twinkled when he talked about his family. He loved y’all, and he knew he was deeply loved by his family. He was so proud of his sons. We’re going to miss him a lot. Lorraine, Jeffrey, Shawn, we’re so sorry for your loss. Lorraine, you were an able advocate for him to the end. A full partner. Much love to you from your neighbors.

Auntie Lorraine, I can already visualize him now in heaven, he is with the Lord, and all the Hess semi - trucks, and he created a whole new world! that whole new world that he created with his amazing imagination, and with the love of you, and Shawn and Jeffrey’s childlike imagination, growing up it is with great joy I can share the good news. Uncle Ronald was so humorous very funny smart he always had really good stories to tell the kids as we were growing up. I remember going into his den And I would see his collectibles on the walls and I would ask him about all of them lol I was quite the curious one! That’s the thing about uncle Ronald that was his great joy of sharing things like that with the kids! He was very family oriented and may he Rest in Heavenly peace, pure bliss of the golden shores, preparing the path for his family. I believe God is very merciful and good. Uncle Ronald was hard-working and would do anything for his family. I remember ALL of the good times. Christmas holidays, Especially! Filled with great spirit and joy, and the two of you being so fun together, and good lots of laughter & cheers With the smell of the background filled with great food, and merry hearts! Growing up, I was very fortunate to witness such a wonderful married couple as the two of you were! Along with Grandma & Grandpa Reddy! The Christmas card said the most! Oh GOD I would give anything to be with auntie Lorraine right now comforting her, as a God-daughter should do! The vision I have, as the GOOD Lord said, there is no greater faith, for those who come to him as little children again, for their reward, is the KINGDOM OF HEAVEN! Filled with joy, and no sorrow, filled with peace and not emptiness. I LOVE YOU Auntie Lorraine!
XOXO Love,
