He graduated from the University of North Carolina in 1951 and went to work for General Electric in their management training program. After almost 35 years at GE he continued his business career for another 10 years as a financial analyst for Wright Investors Service in Bridgeport, CT.

A lifelong sports enthusiast, Frank was an accomplished athlete in a wide variety of sports. He played on the golf and basketball teams at North Carolina and won numerous state and local golf championships in both New Jersey and Connecticut. He also bowled competitively as a young adult. Later, as a member of the Paterson Club in Fairfield he also took up and excelled at tennis and platform tennis. Always an avid traveler, Frank visited dozens of states and countries in his business career and also for pleasure often driving hundreds and sometimes thousands of miles to see what was over the next hill. After retiring he continued his love of travel by working as a travel writer. He also enjoyed fishing, playing bridge, listening to opera, family history writing and especially watching his grandchildren in whatever activity they were involved in. Affectionately referred to as Super Frank he will be missed by family and friends alike.
