Another angel got her wings! Priscilla Foote Wargo Pellis joined our Heavenly Father peacefully in her sleep on March 7, 2023. Priscilla was born on August 8th, 1927 in Maybeury, West Virginia. Her parents were Mary and John Foote. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. She leaves behind her 7 loving children and 2 step-children, Mark Wargo, Craig Wargo, Mary Wargo-Brown, Patricia Philbin (Wargo), Tom Wargo, Stacey Khouri (Wargo), Lisa Wargo Greenleaf, Raymond Pellis, Jr., and Zack Pellis. She also leaves behind numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom she adored; plus wonderful nieces and nephews and their respective families. Priscilla spent a wonderful 34 years of marriage with her 1st love, Zoltan Wargo (USMC), who passed in 1984. Later she joined together with Raymond Pellis (US Navy) in 1987 for another 28 years of marriage bliss before his passing. All the time living in Fairfield, CT for 73 years in her home that was built by her first husband, Zoltan Wargo and could always be found working in her gardens. She became a state award-winning Master Gardener in her 70's with many cherished awards. She had many hobbies and interests. She loved to travel the world, was an extraordinary cook (especially with her Hungarian nut rolls, poppy seed rolls, and Laquear cookies), volunteered at Operation Hope making tons of meat loafs, was an avid reader, completed the cross-word puzzles daily, bowled on the weekly league (all the way into her 90's), enjoyed theatre and date-night movies, but most importantly, loved and cherished her family dearly. She was a devout Catholic and served as a Eucharistic Minister for over 2 decades. Her faith was her number 1 priority, attending church worship daily. She never lost her zest for life. She will be greatly missed. We love your Priscilla and miss you already! In lieu of flowers, the family requests any donations be made to the charity of their choice. Calling hours will be held on Friday, March 10, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the Lesko & Polke Funeral Home, 1209 Post Road, in Fairfield Center. Her Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday at 12:30 p.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 149 South Pine Creek Road, Fairfield, CT 06824. Interment will follow at Oak Lawn Cemetery, Fairfield.
