Obituary of Judith A. Klein

Please share a memory of Judith to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Judith Ann Zombar Klein, age 69, of Fairfield, beloved wife of the late Robert Charles Klein, entered into eternal life on Friday, June 2, 2023.

Born in Bridgeport, Judith was a life-long resident of Fairfield and a graduate of Southern Connecticut State University. She was a loving mother, grandmother, faithful friend, avid gardener, and a fierce survivor after being widowed at a young age, raising two children, and overcoming cancer with strength, empathy, and humor.

Judith will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Samantha Ann Klein and Nicole Marie Klein Ducsay; her son-in-law, Steven Ducsay; adored grandsons, Anthony and Nathan Ducsay; her sister, Janet Dembosky; brother-in-law, John Dembosky; her brother, William J. Zombar, Jr., and his fiancée, Kathy Angotta; sisters-in-law, Monica Zombar, Karen Macisco, and Monika Klein; Christine Ann Smith, who was like a daughter to Judith; and many beloved cousins, nieces and nephews.

Judith's family would like to express their gratitude and thanks to the doctors, nurses, and staff at Yale-New Haven and Smilow Cancer Center for their compassionate care given to Judith.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, June 16, 2023 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service to be held at 6:30 p.m. in the Lesko & Polke Funeral Home, 1209 Post Road, in Fairfield Center.
