Michael Gerard Flynn, age 58, of Easton, beloved husband of Ann E. Lumsden Flynn, entered into eternal life on Thursday, December 6, 2018 at his home with his loving family by his side.

Born in Dungarvan, County Waterford Ireland, to the late Nicholas and Margaret “Peggy” Maher Flynn, Gerry was the owner and operator of MG Flynn Contracting Inc. and Winnick Steel Inc.

A hardworking, passionate, generous man, Gerry’s memory will be lovingly remembered by his adoring wife, Ann E. Flynn, of Easton; his children, Nicholas Flynn, of Westport, Lillian Flynn, of Brooklyn, NY, and James Flynn, of Fairfield; a brother, Philip Flynn and sister-in-law, Catherine Flynn and their three children, of Crough, Co Waterford, Ireland.

Calling hours will be held Tuesday, December 11, 2018 from 4-8 p.m. in the Lesko & Polke Funeral Home, 1209 Post Road, in Fairfield Center. His Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. directly at St. Pius X Church, 834 Brookside Drive, Fairfield, CT 06824. Interment will be held privately at Oak Lawn Cemetery in Fairfield.  Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123.
