Mary (Bozak) Parks, age 80, of Norwalk, passed away peacefully after a brief illness at the Norwalk Hospital on Friday, June 30, 2023. She was the daughter of Rudolph and Lillian (Gilleski) Bozak and was born on May 7, 1943, in Rochester, NY.
Mary was a devoted wife to her surviving husband, Donald Parks, of 59 years and a loving mother to her 4 surviving children: Christopher Parks, Daniel Parks, Deborah Parks, and Jennifer Parks, all of Norwalk, CT. Her sisters Lillian C. (Joseph) DeLeo and Sister Barbara Ann Bozak both of Windsor, CT. Her sister-in-law Diane C. (Gary) Bradley of Rockledge, FL. She also had many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Mary enjoyed going for walks, coloring in her Adult Coloring Books, she also enjoyed her puzzle books and going to the Senior Center and All Saints Catholic School in Norwalk to play Bingo with her friends. She also loved baking for the family with her daughters. Mary also loved to go to Windsor to visit with her sisters. She also loved taking trips in the Fall with her husband to Lake George, NY. Mary also loved traveling to Europe and Maine with her sisters. Mary was a devout Catholic and belonged to St. Jerome Catholic Church in Norwalk. She will be missed very much.
The viewing will be at the Lawrence Funeral Home, 2119 Boston Post Road, Darien, CT 06820, on Thursday, June 13th, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
