Obituary of Cathleen E. Coleman

Cathleen Coleman, age 67, of Bridgeport, entered into eternal life on August 25, 2023.

Cathleen grew up and lived on Fairfield Beach before moving to Bridgeport, where she resided for the last 30 years. She had worked for many years at Perkin-Elmer and loved to sail, dance, and travel.

Cathleen is survived by her daughter, Sarah Fricke-McAleer, of Fairfield; her granddaughter, Kendall McAleer, of Fairfield; and her longtime partner, Barry Kirsten, of Bridgeport. She was predeceased by her father, Herman Fricke; her mother, Sylvia Davies Fricke; and her brother, Carl Fricke. She will also be remembered by Richard Brockel of NJ, his spouse Grace, and their child Jacqueline.

All services will be held privately.
