I can’t seem to deviate from “Great Guy.” It’s been a long while since I last saw Ed. I don’t remember him any differently. He was the “Go To” guy when we were little. I remember him fondly at a wedding...I couldn’t tell you who got married, but I remember Ed. He was the guy that scooped two little girls in his arms and we all danced together. And if kids are being honest, there was no one else we enjoyed being with more at this type of event. It also helped that we got to see the world at a 6’5” lense. If he was shorter than that, don’t break it to me. He was as gentle, kind and easy of a soul as they come.
In terms of his love of golf, his passion totally matches his personality; it’s individual, requires patience and persistence and there is no better of an etiquette sport.
Although it’s been years since I’ve last seen cousin Eddie, I’m confident we could’ve picked up where we last saw each other. Maybe I am too big to be in his arms, but i know he would’ve been a good get away from the rest of a crowd.
I’m so sad for all of the family he’s left behind, he’s so gentle, and I know how much he was loved. I cry sending this message as though I saw him yesterday.
