Obituary of Barbara Danjczek

Barbara Danjczek, 77, of Fairfield, CT, passed away on Sunday, December 10th, 2023.

She is survived by her husband, Emanuel Kurt Danjczek Jr., of Fairfield, CT; her son, Christopher James Danjczek, of Fairfield, CT; her daughter, Robin Ann Danjczek, of Fairfield, CT; her granddaughter, Alexandra Elizabeth Cervone, of Fairfield, CT, her granddaughter, Emma Katherine Cervone, of Fairfield CT; and her nephew, John Dennis Ewaskewich of Milford CT.

Barbara was predeceased by her mother and father, Arhonda Batsu Becea & Dennis Becea of Bridgeport, CT; and her sister, Helen Elizabeth Ewaskewich, of Bridgeport, CT.
 
Barbara graduated from Bassick High School; she was a stay-at-home mother until her children went to elementary school. This role was her true joy in life. Barbara later worked for the Town of Fairfield as a Nurses Aide until she retired. In her younger years, she loved dancing, singing, and going to the movies. She had strong ties to her Romanian background and fond memories of growing up in the West End of Bridgeport.

She had a great sense of humor and loved walking with her girlfriends and going to the beach with her grandkids. She was her own person and a loyal friend. Her childhood friends and the women she worked with in the town of Fairfield were her second family. Barbara loved her husband, Kurt Danjczek. The two met when they were 15 years old, and the rest is history... Kurt was the true love of her life. In her later years, her two granddaughters were her focus. Alexandra and Emma became her purpose in life. She was a selfless woman with an enormous heart!      

A private Trisagion service will occur under the care of Rev. Fr. George Coca of St. Dimitrie Orthodox Church. All services will be held privately.
