Linda and Jim - Randy and I were saddened to hear of George’s passing. I regret that we had not been able to reconnect more often. We had many great times together at Princeton. I was always impressed that someone I knew was able to thrive in the math department! My deepest sympathy to you and your family. Harry Gallis

I have known George for over 60 years. We were in the same class at Princeton and in the same eating club, When we moved back to NJ in 1966, I would meet George for tennis and bridge, and visit their house in West Orange where we met Snoopy the beagle.
.
When George and Linda moved to Pa, we would meet them for dinner in Princeton. We also spent a weekend at their house on Cape Cod and visited them at the Devon horse show.
My sympathy to Linda and Jim on their loss.
Alan Chesler.

Along with 20 or so Wayne PA area men, I had the pleasure of sharing lunch and playing duplicate bridge afternoons with George every Wednesday for over 20
years. George was a thoughtful, considerate bridge partner who was good company as well. Had the experience of sharing stories about our U.S. Army service - of which he was very proud.
George dropped out of our group early this year and we miss him very much. Ted Behr, White Horse Village. 12-31-23

I have not seen George in several years but the information in the obituary brought back memories of stories George told about his life that had a great deal of humor. Family history is one. His father was from Lesbos. US Army adventures is another. Please Pvt Roccas you're a Mathematician, don't drive that truck! Rest In Peace Soldier. Comrade in Arms, Civil War & Viet Nam Era, John and Judy O'Neal

Mr. Roccas was a very good man who loved his son, daughter-in-law and grandsons. He made certain that his grandsons have the best education!
