I send my condolences to Dave's large, loving family - his mother and I were close friends as teenagers. He was fortunate to have you all in life, and will watch over you until you meet again. I never met Dave in person but could tell, even through his courageous and kind Facebook communications, that he was a wonderful person, an angel we were all privileged to know. Without a doubt he is safe in God's arms at this very moment.

My condolences to Dave's family and friends. Although I didn't know him as long I had an opportunity to work with him for a bit and it was always a pleasure to see and work with him. We always had good conversation as I kept in touch with him. Rest in Peace Dave. You will be missed by all.

Dave, was such a hard worker I had the honor to work with Dave at 2 different locations for Shaws and then again Stop and Shop . Dave you were a great guy , a great father and a great friend to my sis in law Cherly . I admired you how hard you fought. You will be missed but never forgotten.

Dave was always making us laugh. We had a running joke about sunflowers, which were Pam's favorite. We were out one night in downtown New Haven. We were walking past a little Bodega who had sunflowers out front for sale. Pam stopped and said, "Oh look, sunflowers" and Dave's response was "Keep walking". From that day on, that would be our comment between all of us.
