Suzette Rosell Duquette, age 76, of Shelton, beloved wife of the late Renald Fernand Duquette, entered into eternal life on Thursday, January 4, 2024.

Born in Norwalk to the late Bertil and Carmella (Borchetta) Rosell, Suzette was raised and went to school in Fairfield, where she was a 1966 graduate of Roger Ludlowe High School. She moved to Shelton in 1991. She had worked at Dictaphone in Stratford from 1984-2001 and M Cubed Technologies in Monroe for a few years.

Suzette was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Marie Lafayette Chapter. She enjoyed gardening, knitting, crocheting, traveling with Ronny, and spending time with her family and friends. She had a great passion for her grandchildren and the rest of her family.

Suzette's memory will be lovingly remembered by her two daughters, Carol Hayden (Tony) of Lawrence, KS and Jeannette Macero (Francis) of Naugatuck; her siblings, Jo-Annette Nielsen of Fairfield, Carl Rosell of Silva, MO, and Eric Rosell of Waterbury; a sister-in-law, Maureen Rosell of Dennisport, MA; grandchildren, Alex Andranovich, Leah Duquette, Brigette Macero, Emily Johnson, Katie Johnson, Frankie Macero, Greta Hayden, Tyler Montanaro, and Annie Hayden; step-daughters, Sherry Johnson, and her husband, Rich, and Deborah Duquette; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Renald and her parents, Bertil and Carmella, Suzette was predeceased by a brother, Bertil Rosell, Jr.

Calling hours will be held at the Lesko Funeral Home, 1209 Post Road, Fairfield Center, Friday, January 12th from 3:00-5:00 p.m. with a service taking place at 4:30 p.m.
