Obituary of Thomas P Muzea

Thomas P. Muzea, age 93 of Trumbull, husband of the late Stella Adam Muzea, passed away on Sunday, January 13, 2019.
Born and raised in Webster, MA., son of the late Pandely and Angelina Stillu Muzea, Tom had been a Trumbull Town resident for most of his life. He was a United States Naval Veteran serving his country during WWII. Mr. Muzea later went on to work as a postman for the USPS for many years until his retirement.
Tom was very devoted to St. Dimitrie Orthdox Church where he belonged to the St. Dimitrie Church Council, the church retirees group and was a willing volunteer for the Church Festivals. He took great pride in caring for his home, garden and his yard.
Tom enjoyed fishing, coin collecting,spending winters in Florida and was an avid Boston Red Sox and Green Bay Packers fan. Tom lived life to fullest and was known for his wonderful sense of humor. A loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather, he will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his son, Dennis Muzea of Stratford and a daughter, Linda DelGuidice of Trumbull. He leaves behind his grandchildren Randi Kubick and her husband Tyson and Jeffrey DelGuidice and his wife Danielle, great-grandchildren Camryn and Kendall Kubick and Emma and Jake DelGuidice, brothers Foster Muzea and his wife Peggy of Florida and George Muzea and his wife Maria of Nevada as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother James Muzea.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 16 at 11 am directly at St. Dimitrie Orthodox Church, 504 Sport Hill Rd., Easton with burial to follow in Lakeview Cemetery, Bridgeport with full Military Honors. Friends may call on Wednesday at the Church from 10 am until the time of services. Arrangements in the care of the Lesko & Polke Funeral Home.
The Muzea family would like to thank the staff of St. Joseph's Manor for the compassionate care that Tom received during his stay there.
