Obituary of Dorothea L. Lujick

Dorothea Louise Haux Lujick, age 88, of Fairfield, devoted wife of John Lujick, Sr., entered into eternal life on Sunday, January 20, 2019. Born in Bridgeport to the late Charles and Jennie Perchaluk Haux, Dorothea had worked for a lumber company, Mack Trucks, Avco Lycoming, and Arnold Company as an office clerk. She loved to cook and adored animals, especially her dogs. Dorothea took great pleasure in Easter Egg Hunts and spending time with her grandchildren. In addition to her beloved husband, John Lujick, Sr., Dorothea is survived by her loving son, John Lujick, Jr., and his wife, Patricia, of Hamden; three adored grandchildren, Jessica, Jason, and John Paul Lujick; and cousins, Richard Haux, of Fairfield and George Haux, of New York. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 from 4-8 p.m. in the Lesko & Polke Funeral Home, 1209 Post Road, in Fairfield Center. All other services will be held privately.
