Obituary
Obituary of Kinga Szidi Wall
Please share a memory of Kinga to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Kinga Szidi Tokay Wall, age 60, of the Black Rock section of Bridgeport, entered into eternal life on January 30, 2019.
Born in Detroit to the late Janos and Maria Bella Tokay, Kinga had lived in Yonkers, NY and graduated from Joan of Arc High School and studied at SUNY Purchase for art, and later moved to New Haven before settling in Black Rock for the past 26 years.
She had worked as a licensed and certified locomotive engineer for Metro North Railroad for over 28 years. She enjoyed writing poetry, traveling, cooking, and bird watching, as she loved all animals. Kinga took great joy in drawing, painting, and music, both singing and writing, but her greatest passion was being a mother to her daughter, who she loved more than anything.
A generous soul, Kinga's memory will be lovingly remembered by her cherished daughter, Caitlin Wall, of Bridgeport; her ex-husband, James Wall, of Bridgeport; a sister, Nada Perlenberg, of Sweden; and a nephew, Csaba Perlenberg, of Sweden.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, February 9, 2019 from 3-5 p.m. in the Lesko & Polke Funeral Home, 1209 Post Road, in Fairfield Center, with a prayer service at 4:30 p.m. All other services will be held privately.
