To Madelyn, Charlotte, and Peter Russell and family,
So sorry to hear of the passing of your father, and brother! We spoke with George a few times a little over a month or so back while he had his beloved dog, and while he was at Stop and Shop. We will miss him!

Q: How would you describe George to someone who had never met them?
A: The essence within the embodiment of George Farley Russell was loving kindness and a peaceful joy.
This could be most readily be seen when you asked him where his last fishing trip was or where the next one was planned. Georges youthful exuberance would shine when he started to describe what obscure corner of the world he had been or was going to. Then he would tell you of the body of water where he would be searching for the elusive fish he sought to catch. Describing down to every detail what type of pole, line test, lure, fly and bait he used to catch them.
Whether in a family, social or business meeting George did not waiver with his presence.
George made us a better person!
He was a fisher of men!!
George will be missed but never forgotten

What a treat to get a peek at a side of George I unfortunately never saw! Most of our conversations were more about finances, accounting, and Southport historic trivia--it makes me miss George even more to learn more about his passions beyond the 06890! Thank you.
